Would have given 5 stars if the closure was a zipper, but the buttons leave weird spaces at the top and bottom that stick out a bit, had to pin them. Slightly large in the waist, I am a 6, but ordered the 8 as I wanted to wear over heavy tights, but could have easily gone with the 6, the 8 sits down low on my hips. Still planning on wearing this tons this fall/winter, love the plaid! And for the record, I've never tried on an insulated skirt that didn't make a swishy noise, that seems to be the nature of synthetic insulation. The slight noise has never bothered me.
