It is made from substantial weight leather and appears to be very well stitched throughout. It has heavy zips in all the right places without any unnecessary decoration or styling. The removable insulated liner makes this a true three season jacket and there are an abundance of pockets. Besides the four zip pockets on the front of jacket there are- one LARGE vertical zip pocket on the left inside flap as well as a cell phone pocket on left side of liner and large wallet size pocket on right, both with velcro closure. I removed the insulated liner and found the two pockets duplicated on the mesh interior. That is fantastic attention to detail! The only thing I would change is the little leather tabs attached to the zip pulls, they seem cheap and ready to fall off. I will probably just remove them.
I am 6'2" about 200lbs and was concerned about the sizing. I wear a suit size of 44 but initially ordered a 48 thinking any smaller might be too tight in the shoulders. That was a mistake as these are sized very accurately with adequate arm length. I returned the 48 and replaced it with a 44 which fits perfectly. There are two things to keep in mind with a leather motorcycle jacket- first is that it is meant to be worn rather tight as a "second skin" meant to protect you in the event of a wipeout on your motorcycle. Second is that leather stretches to fit over time so the ideal jacket will feel just a bit too small when you first put it on. After a month or so of wear it will fit like it was made for you. I am looking forward to many many years riding with my new favorite jacket.
