His feet often get wet while working and he would often come over after work and put his wet shoes and socks out to dry because they would be soaked. Not so with these. No socks to worry about so his feet stay drier. They fit him well and he likes the bungee closure. My friend loves these shoes

I had to use Sierra's return/exchange program and pay a little extra shipping, but the process was smooth and overall I'm very satisfied.
These sandals will function very well in the BWCA in and out of the water. -

They are a little flat through the arches but for my feet that made a pretty good fit. They are comfortable in the water and pretty minimal sand, pebble, debris that gets stuck in the shoe. They are comfortable for walking and nice in the water. The soles provide great traction and I appreciate the covered toe to prevent stubbing mine on rocks, branches, etc.

After returning and getting the next size down, the fit is good. These are a stylish shoe, but not quite a sandal. They are more shoe than sandal. They are hot to wear barefoot. They feel better with a light sock. They seem to be taking a while to break in, there's not much flex or cushion. Only time will tell how they break in and feel. I would caution people not to buy these and decide to take a trip with only these, take another pair of shoes or sandals.

I bought these because they came in 4E. It is great to be able the actually have to tighten the straps instead of letting them out as I do with footwear makers that have 1 width fits all. That said, the quality is just not there. The back strap just won't tighten well enough because the elastic band they use is of poor quality. I New Balance would make sandals the quality of Keen's or Keen's would make sandals in 4E, I would be happy.
