5.0 out of 5 stars. Fits well!

I appreciate the Sherpa brand on many levels - made in Nepal, trying to support the economy there is awesome. The quality and workmanship is great. Also, the sizing is good overall for me. I am not a tiny stick figure so 'close fitting' jackets don't work for me. I am 5'10'' and athletic build - wider shoulders and an abdomen (a few extra middle aged pounds!) like some room for movement. However, this brand is not sloppy in its fit. There's room for a layer or two on cold ski days. There is a decent sized inside zipper pocket which is essential for me.

I have some other Sherpa brand jackets, vests, some of which I have had for several years, and they withstand alot of regular use very well. If you are a regular size woman (meaning a few extra stubborn pounds that just hang on) then this brand could be a good choice for you.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great buy

Bought this one for my daughter, but I have one just like it for me. At the price it is just about as good as it gets for warmth vs weight. Hers is a little newer and has features which I like, but both are excellent buys especially at the STP price. Any thing with PrimaLoft is a good buy.

Fits close true to size, lightweight comfortable jacket. I'm 5'10" and the sleeves were the right length.

This is my fourth SAG jacket/coat. I love all my SAG products. Very well made!! This is definitely a layering piece.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Not for Pear Shapes
Verified Buyer Reviewed by The Petite Pear from Virginia on Thursday, January 14, 2016
I am 60" tall and weigh about 120, ordered this in a small, and found that it is too long and narrow for my petite pear shape. Thought the two-way zipper might help, but the jacket was just too long to look good on me. Going up to a medium would probably have been even longer, and would also have been too roomy up top. Too bad, it is a nice jacket - just not cut for my shape. The overall fit seemed to me like it was similar to Columbia products.
