This particular model is high quality but a tiny bit smaller than similar-sized helmet from giro, a little more stylish. It was more comfortable for my 13 year old daughter and her helmet was more comfortable for me so we did a swap. I am a little jealous because this helmet was higher quality than hers

However the first time he wore it, it cracked on impact with hard-packed snow. Some would say that is performed how it was intended, but not we have to trash it after just one use. It seems that it should be able to withstand impact with snow. Pretty expensive for one-time. STP unable to do anything about it, and contacted Bolle a week ago and still have not heard back. Won't buy another Bolle helmet.
