It has been my favorite goto dress year round. it is sheer, but the wool makes it have drape. I have both colors I think, This time I got the red and it is my favorite shade of red, sort of salmon meets brick. In natural sunlight it looks like a very heathered taupe and raspberry This dress is shorter than my other one which is okay because I am only 5'2". The sleeves are long and cover part of my hand , even though I am short my arms are long for a petite. I usually wear this dress with a jacket or sweater because it doesn't make much of a line underneath and it is plain. I should wear it with a slip, but I don't always and It seems fine with leggings, and camis and scarves it is so neutral, that you can , read -have to, add something.

The wool blend is not as soft as i was expecting. I am also 5'8" and found the fit and length to be awkward. I returned it. If you are interested I would order a size up, runs very very small.

I tried to deep teal and black, which looks charcoal. Lovely colors. I sized up, since Prana seems to run small. If I lost ten pounds and always wore a slip, I could wear this dress. But I sent it back, wishing they would have used a heavier knit fabric that did not cling so much. The cut of the dress is wonderful. Hits above the knee for me, at 5'5". The wool is more itchy than Icebreaker or Smartwool or Ibex, but not intolerable and I have sensitive skin. If you are in fabulous shape or wear something under it, this would be a gorgeous dress. I wanted to wear it to work, not out on a date, so I gave up. For reference, I am usually a size 8 and I tried the L - 135 # and the L was a tad snug.
