Living in the upper Midwest, I need protection against sub-zero temps and winds driving temps to -20 or lower. I'm glad I bought the larger size (12) although I usually would never consider anything larger than a 10. The details for pockets/storage are wonderful. Knit wrist and length give great protection against cold winter winds.

I am 5' 1" and it comes just above my knees. Kind of long for me but will work good for the cold blustery days. Love the hat! Has a nice zippered interior pocket for the phone. This is going to be a warm coat. Not an everyday winter coat but great for the blizzard and windy winter days. I like it!
