The craftsmanship, design and materials are all top notch, as usual for prAna. The only negative is the very boxy fit. It fits similar (or even a bit more boxy) to my Patagonia down sweater (I'm 5'10 165lbs and chose a medium in both the prAna and thenPatagonia). Not a fan of oversized outdoor gear (unless I need room for layering which in the case of this insulated jacket, I don't). I'm hoping to get used to it.
It's not a technical jacket, but it seems more designed for warmth and comfort around town IMO. It is warm and comfortable and has a nice DWR finish with a Clearcoat 600 layer over it. Thus far in a light rain on a cool and blustery early Spring day here in San Diego, it kept me very dry and comfortably warm. Beautiful design/materials, boxy fit. 4 stars.
