I always try to shop for jackets that are unique. If you don't want to look like everyone else, then this is the jacket for you. If you want a jacket that gives provides warmth but is extremely lightweight, then this jacket is for you. If you want to wear the warmest jacket around, then this is NOT the jacket for you. I had no previous experience with OMNI-HEAT before, but was expecting more warmth.
