3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice for shell, but nothing moreVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from California on Thursday, June 16, 2016From the pictures this looks like a hearty rainjacket/snowjacket that will keep you warm in the worst of weather. Sadly, realty strikes when you see the product first hand and realize it is a poorly constructed shell with cheap tiny zippers, marginally attractive, and nylon material so thin that without at a fleece liner you have no chance of staying warm in the wet, wind, or snow. This product lacks the key items that would make it a keeper.

4.0 out of 5 stars. So far, so goodVerified Buyer Reviewed by Michael from Wisconsin on Saturday, May 28, 2016So far so good. I'm 5' 11", 172lbs and the Medium fits. This is one of the features that I love about Columbia products. Most manufacturers go with the standard S, M, L sizing with Medium being 38-40 and Large being 42-44. At 5' 11" I'm in between these two standard sizes. Sure I can wear the Large but it really doesn't "fit" well since it supposed to accommodate someone a few inches taller and heavier. The Columbia "Medium" is 38-41. Perfect for someone under 6' and 175-180lbs. Performance-wise, I haven't had the chance to fully test it but it has kept me dry and warm close to home. Walking the dogs at night with the temp in the low 50s the jacket kept me comfortable while wearing a t-shirt underneath. Running errands around town it has kept me dry during the spring rains - water beads and runs off the jacket. I haven't had it out hiking or camping yet. During the coming winter I plan to use my Omni-Heat Interchange insulated zip-in and test the system while skiing. So far I am pleased with the product. I am also pleased with Sierra Trading Post. Especially their pricing. I purchased the Heater-Change Omni-Tech jacket and and Omni-Heat Interchange insulated zip-in (I don't remember the model) separately from Sierra for about $140 total. Retail? $280-$300. What's not to like?

5.0 out of 5 stars. great raincoatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Dry Hiker from boston on Tuesday, March 29, 2016very comfortable raincoat. instead of the typical stiff, inflexible waterproof material found on most raincoats, this material is actually somewhat soft, and it ' gives ' . I also like the fact that it has a mesh lining, which gives it just a bit of bulk and warmth . one could use it as an all=weather jacket on a windy/ damp day. it will fold up small and fit into a suitable stuff sack. good quality zippers. good size hood. very good quality, at a very reasonable price.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great quality, looks great, and works!Reviewed by Gtom61 from SF Bay Area on Saturday, March 5, 2016Very pleased with this purchase. The fit is great, not tight at all and room for layering. The sleeves are just a tad long which i personally like for a rain jacket. I'm 5'11" and 182 lbs and purchased a Large. For me, this is not heavy, keeps you warm, love the pit zips, and know this is not a windbreaker or a super light rain jacket like the Marmot PreCip which i also have. The omni=heat technology allows this jacket to keep you warm without being a thick insulated or heavy jacket. light enough for backpacking. It also has the Interchange option, so you can zip in a Columbia fleece to add warmth. I just used this jacket in a huge rainstorm near LA and it worked beautifully. I also like the felt lined hand pockets and the draw cord hem.. One point on the color, if you choose black, know it is not dark black. It is actually more of a graphite or dark charcoal color. Very pleased and now purchasing the Blue. For this price, and STP discount, and the Columbia warranty, it's certainly worth every penny for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Not bad for the priceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mono from Columbus on Monday, February 15, 2016Versatile, functional, not as dark in person as it appears online. Sleeves are a ad long relative to the jacket length and overall fit. Water and wind proof above average.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Quality as usualVerified Buyer Reviewed by East coaster from Upstate NY on Thursday, February 11, 2016Another quality Columbia product. Construction is on point, sizing maybe a tad large- had to downsize after receiving my first jacket. Not sure how much warmth the omni-heat will provide but looking forward to testing it out in the cold.
