The interior is lined and it is very comfortable to wear. I actually bought 3 of these caps. One for my nephew and 2 for me. I liked it so much, I bought a back-up for myself! To be able to flip this to hunter orange is ingenious! During normal wear without the hunter orange, one would never know that the orange was there. The Optifade Forest color is rather unique and I have actually received several positive comments while wearing it! It is fun to wear something a bit different. I also purchased the matching jacket as well (real nice)!

Having a insulated hat that can transform from camo to orange is paramount for my needs. Many particular game laws require you to wear orange when you are moving and are allowed to be in total camo when you are stationary. This hat fits the bill without looking like Elmer Fudd. In fact the hat looks so good that I ordered another one just for my non hunting needs. Well worth the money. Sizing does run a bit small so order up a size.

You don't have to flip it all the way over I have a sliver of hunter orange show in the back only partial flip. -

I dont flip to orange all the way but rather have just the back of my head show hunter orange. -
