But I took a punt, and it worked out. These are the best running shorts I've ever owned. Generous fit, comfortable, even on very long runs in high humidity. Will buy again.

It has a connected thong piece inside, which is the only part that uses the SmartWool technology. I dislike the pock sewn into the top of the rear - at the waistband - everything jingles around in the pocket; would have been better on the side like some of my other running shorts.
