5.0 out of 5 stars. As Good As It LooksVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Huntington Beach, CA on Wednesday, January 20, 2016This SmartWool shirt is true to size and the color is very nice. The shirt can be worn as a base layer or for just keeping warm around the house. My husband wears it with his jeans on the weekends, with his sweats around the house, and loves the pattern.
It's a treasure to find here at Sierra Trading Post! I'll watch for more great bargains on these fantastic shirts. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great FitVerified Buyer Reviewed by mlk243 from Schwenksville on Thursday, January 14, 2016I have a SmarWool sweater and it was loose going down the sides. This was nice because of the NTS line so it was more form fitted (5'10", 165lb, 39-40" chest. Not sure if I could manage a gym shirt underneath without looking too bunched up but I'll do it anyway. Great product, great brand, great STP for the price!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Merino First LayerVerified Buyer Reviewed by Iron Duke from NJ on Wednesday, January 13, 2016Worked well in 40 degree rain under a Cabelas performance tee shirt, a Northface midlayer, and a Swazi Tahr Anorak raingear. Not itchy at all. Long zipper to vent. Neck not too tight when fully zipped against the wind & cold. At 6'-1" & 190lbs the large fit well; not skin tight and not too big.

4.0 out of 5 stars. FIts well, looks good, keeps me warmVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tony from New Jersey on Tuesday, January 12, 2016Went with the medium and it fits perfect at 5'9" 165lbs. Very lightweight and WARM. I've worn it as a single layer in freezing temps and been reasonable comfortable. The only thing I don't love is the zipper. The zipper pulls down to about your belly-button, which kind of reduces the integrity of the shirt when its zipped down. When I put the shirt on with the zipper pulled all the way down, I have to be careful so as not to rip through the shirt (I've heard the threads stretching a few times).

5.0 out of 5 stars. PerfectVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jim from Eastern Wisconsin on Monday, January 11, 2016The next to skin (nts) layer fits and feels like quality cotton. That's a great feature from a wool garment. It fits great and is the quintessential mid layer piece on the market.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Very good shirt.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Israel on Sunday, January 10, 2016I wear it for 36 hours continuously day and night for various in-hous and out-door activities. I used it as only clothes or as under-clothes . Feel very comfortable - and very important - it not smells at all after 36 hours of use.

5.0 out of 5 stars. As always, Smartwool is great!Verified Buyer Reviewed by High Desert Shopper from New Mexico on Wednesday, December 30, 2015Bought this for my husband for winter activities ( biking, skiing), but he likes it so much he wears it at just about any opportunity. The fit is spot on, the length perfect for coverage, and can be worn tucked in or not, and the color is great- not the more common black you see everywhere. This is an awesome color for most men. Sleeve length is generous. Construction great. The fabric: wonderfully soft, no bagginess, and NO ITCH, while being warm even when damp. Can't recommend this shirt highly enough; top notch. (DId I mention how handsome my husband looks in it?....)

4.0 out of 5 stars. Wonderful shirtReviewed by Jules from St louis, Mo on Saturday, December 19, 2015This is a fantastic deal, the shirt is soo soft, and lives up to the smartwool reputation. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is that is has a bright red zipper in the middle, and it's not that apparent in the picture shown. Still love it, but would have loved it more if it didn't have that. Who cares at this price though.
