5.0 out of 5 stars. Works great!Reviewed by Wine Loving CPA from Minneapolis, MN on Friday, August 28, 2015I bought one of these early this spring, and it has been performing very well. It is sharp, easy to hold and the bright colors make it easy to find in the basket of gardening items in my garage. I have used it a LOT this summer with overgrown bushes, and it still is functioning without fail.

4.0 out of 5 stars. good dealVerified Buyer Reviewed by Nancy from Michigan on Tuesday, August 25, 2015I am an avid gardener and always need extra pairs of pruners handy. Nice bright colors help to locate it when you leave it in the yard!

3.0 out of 5 stars. Not too shabbyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Johnny the Hiker from New Hampshire on Wednesday, August 19, 2015These little bypass pruners are very inexpensive, enough so that I bought a number of them so I don't have to carry a pair everywhere I go. And, as with many STP products, you have to wonder, "what the defect here?". Well, in this case, I suspect it is the plastic handle construction. I snapped half of the bottom handle off, admittedly cutting a branch far beyond the capacity of the pruner. It snapped where the metal inside ends and the rest is plastic only. For a few bucks, these are a good deal overall.

4.0 out of 5 stars. works well so farVerified Buyer Reviewed by jean from OREGON on Thursday, August 13, 2015Been using this in the yard and it works well. Love the bright yellow handles. The button which keeps the blades closed is a little awkward, but great item for the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars. does the job!Verified Buyer Reviewed by BassetMum from Chicago on Friday, July 17, 2015I don't really know what would make pruning shears especially good or particularly disappointing. But these feel nice and sturdy, yet not too heavy, and have worked well for my puttering around the garden. There was a little bit of a gritty feeling in the mechanism after a few uses, but this hasn't hindered the function at all.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Sharp and cuts but cheap safety leverVerified Buyer Reviewed by bobnj from egg harbor,nj on Monday, May 18, 2015I have used it once on a couple of small branches. Cut fine. After closing and opening once the lever does not work that keeps it closed. Hard to carry it anywhere even around the yard now. Potential only.
