4.0 out of 5 stars. Love my cotton tea towelsReviewed by Berynice from Long Beach on Monday, July 13, 2015I don't know how anybody could think this was patchwork - even though it says it is. It's printed on cotton and does the job. I like that they have the hook for hanging it sewn in. I feel like there's a slight lack of absorbency, hence four stars and not five. It is big and pretty and cotton.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Not at all what they are stated to beReviewed by Suzaan from NYC on Monday, April 6, 2015These towels is are not patchwork, which is a panel comprised of pieces of cloth sewn together to form a design, and neither are they applique, which is pieces of cloth decoratively sewn atop a larger panel and which is what I thought STP meant when I ordered these. Wow! A crraft technique of patchwork or more likely applique, in cotton and at this price! No, this is simply a piece of not very soft cloth with fruits and vegetables PRINTED on it. The "patchwork" is not patched work, but is a design printing different patterns and colors on a solid-color panel. And the colors are not moderate as they appear in the photograph but garishly fluorescent.
Why didn't STP simply describe these as cotton towels with printed fruits and vegetables made to look as if they were cut out of different pieces of patterned fabric? VERY disappointing. I don't think they meant to deceive, they are simply uninformed or inaccurate in their understanding of what these textiles are. This has happened before -- they can't seem to distinguish necklines correctly between crew, round, scooped and cowl -- and in online sales the verbal descriptions are crucial.
