I have been meaning to get one that was large enough to hold a large deer rifle with a big scope on it. That's exactly what this one will do. I put a Browning BBR with a Mark IV Leupold 6.5-20x50 scope with a 4inch sun shade in it with no problem. Same with a 700 Remington PSS with a bull barrel and even bigger Leupold scope. I haven't put an AR with the an elevated scope on it to see if there is enough clearance, but I think it will be fine. The case is solid and I guess it's why they call it a hybrid as it's a soft case but is very rigid. Construction is great, I'm just not crazy about the color.

The bottom, barrel tip and butt ends are really solid. Not your cheap plastic that wants to crack real quick. Handle is really well built. Zippers are strong and reliable as is the tracking they are on. Tons of area for high rings and a large scope. This is definitely the highest level of protection available without an expensive hard case. This Tenzing is a special highest tier brand under Plano that builds mainly really high end backpacking equipment. It puts the Plano standard softcase line literally to shame as well most the others like Bulldog Hybrid Magnum Series . Use the coupons and discounts floating around for Sierra and you can't beat the price. I just wish they made it in a 44" model too.
