They work great with a thin liner--marmot skin liner. Flexibility is great--use them for downhill skiing and they keep my hands warm--and that's a feat! Wrist cuff is high and snug--good for keeping the weather out. Had down mitts awhile ago and hadn't found another pair that keep the wind out and kept my hands from sweating.

These mittens have duck down. I prefer a more natural filling for down.
I was pleased by the sizing too.
