I rethreaded it and hoped for the best, but over time it happens more and more often and now I just have to leave it unzipped. Very unfortunate. I should have sent it back immediately but since it fit the bill in so many ways I had my fingers crossed it wouldn't get worse.

Taking the price into consideration, I could probably go up another half star if that were an option! It's plenty long in the waist (a plus for me), is somewhat flattering (for a down vest), and is very warm. On the down side, you do have to be SUPER careful with the zipper; there are flaps of fabric on either side, and the fabric is the type that can very easily get caught in the zipper. It also had that "down" smell after I wore it for a quick walk, but after it aired out/dried it was a little better.

I'm going on a trip and need this vest for the trip, so I won"t return it. I can still zip and unzip(barely) although it hangs up and takes time and patience to get out of it. Otherwise it is great! Soft, warm, lightweight, comes with a little stuff sack, and lots of pockets. I got a small, and I'm 5'1" and 120 lbs, and it fits me perfectly.

I have not yet used it as it is the wrong season. I bought it for travelling. I usually wear a size 10 and order a Medum. But I ordered a Large because I have been quite frustrated with getting things and then they are too tight around the hip since I am short. The Large fits fine. The only thing I did not like about this was the hood. It is detachable and I won't be using it much. It does not have a cinch cord, so it is just too big and hangs over my eyes.
