Gray is a medium and I can get a sweater on under with room to spare. Had to get a large in the white, so be aware that the sizing may not be accurate. It's a very versatile piece; I can layer under it and over it. I'll be wearing these jackets all the time, except maybe June, July, August.

Totally Love It!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Merrell Fan from Grand Rapids MI on Tuesday, February 2, 2016The first one I ordered was the gray, which is no longer available and it is a medium and the fit was perfect-- enough room for a medium weight sweater under it, but not so roomy that it looked baggy. I then ordered the white medium, and it fit like an extra small! I returned it and ordered a large which fit about like the gray medium. All in all, this jacket is a great piece which works wonderfully for layering, both over and under. On really cold day, I have fleece jackets that fit over it nicely. I love that it has the removable hood. It is very lightweight, but surprisingly warm for temps down to about 32F just with a sweater under it. Colder than that, and I have to wear something over it. The 4 stars is because of the inconsistency in sizing, but that happens with a lot garments these days.

We used the zig zag stitch on the sewing machine to close them up. I wore mine for a week and the zipper separated at the bottom. I was able to get it back on track but I don't have a lot of confidence in its future performance.
Now, the good: The jacket isn't "puffy" but is surprisingly warm. And because it's so sleek and lightweight, it feels really good on. Some down jackets feel as though they have a life of their own; this one is like a second skin. So, for the price I paid, I'm not dissatisfied. I think it will last me this winter but probably not beyond, and I'll enjoy wearing it. -

I bought this to replace a current packable down jacket I have that is just a little too big and frumpy. I really like the fit of this one - not too long, not too short and enough room for some layers underneath. I ordered the medium and I'm 5'6" 130 lbs. though I haven't had a chance to wear it in the cold yet - it is about the same thickness as my other down jacket which keeps me plenty warm and toasty. What I really like about this one is that it stuffs into a sack that is about 4" x 8" - packable indeed!
