2.0 out of 5 stars. Noisy & uncomfortable in ankle/heelReviewed by Dave from California on Wednesday, February 24, 2016Sorry to have to downrate these -- nice looking, good fit, comfortable in the foot area, but plagued by a persistent squeak with every step. And once they've been on for an hour or so, they are uncomfortable around the ankle bones but especially on the Achilles heel, where the back of the shoe bites into your leg and chafes uncomfortably. Had to return them.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoes.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Practical user from SF Bay Area on Sunday, January 17, 2016Warm and waterproof, and comfortable right out of the box. I use these for casual wear and at work on rainy days. Look great with jeans, khakis or chords. Fits true to size.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable, but noisyReviewed by Patrick from Colorado on Wednesday, January 6, 2016These shoes are comfortable and quite warm. I haven't really checked out the waterproofing, but they've handled well in snow and slush. The only problem is that they're noisy. They squeak with every step I take. I've tried lacing them up differently, but no matter what I do, they keep on squeaking. I hoped the noise would go away after a while, but I've had the shoes for a month now and the issue remains.

5.0 out of 5 stars. perfect for what he needsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jill from Northwestern Illinois on Tuesday, December 29, 2015These ran a little small and slightly narrow. I ordered my normal 11 but they're a little snug. If they had a wider size I'd order an 11.5 but since it only comes in whole sizes, I'll order the 12.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable, stylish, and as cozy as to be expected of any Baffin productVerified Buyer Reviewed by Toastmasterbone from North Carolina on Friday, November 6, 2015If you've ever owned Baffin shoes, then there is at least a reasonable chance that you take part in some form of winter recreation sport; Baffin (a Canadian company) has earned their stripes making winter boots and shoes. I've only had occasion to wear these Grip Winter Shoes in the autumn (so far), but they are indeed warm. Pair them with midweight wool socks and a 50-degree afternoon, and you'll have sweaty toes in no time. The shoes themselves are VERY cozy, albeit slightly snug (not uncomfortably) for those of us living with even-sized feet. The grip has been good on leisure trails, fallen trees, etc, but look as if they could handle snow easily. They suck for kicking a soccer ball - that's not what they're for, of course, but if I have to come up with something on the undesirable side of the fence, it may as well be that.
