If you have wide calves, you wont get these zipped. I barely do and my calves arent what I would call large. I wont be able to wear these with leggings. However, the are a beautiful, well made boot.

When these showed up on STP I was super excited and ordered them right away. I am the type who buys boots to last a long time, for style, comfort, and quality. These are super comfortable and I have worn them with leggings, jeans, and a skirt and they look great with all. I have a moderately wide foot with high arches and instep and these boots fit perfectly straight out of the box, with kind of thin socks. For those with narrower feet, I think a thicker sock would probably make them work just fine.

I generally wear a 7 or 7 1/2 extra wide because of my arch/instep, however these medium width boots in size 38 fit perfectly. To echo other reviewers, these do not need breaking in. At the sale price plus discount, they are well worth it. I ordered the gray, and if available in my size, would have purchased it in black as well.

This is my first Pikolinos purchase and the fit was perfect, even the shaft. I was a bit concerned about it being too wide for my narrow calves but no problem there! -

I've purchased Pikolinos boots and shoes previously and they were well made and top quality leather. These boots had several minor defects that stood out. The leather appeared to be lower quality than other Pikolinos leather boots/shoes. I returned these boots for a refund.
