5.0 out of 5 stars. Will be warm!

I've been looking for a good winter coat since I moved to the mountains 14 years ago. I happened upon this one in-store and fell in love. I bought the storm blue color! I like the plainness, the matte finish. I'm 5'8", about 180 lbs, with long arms and big hips, and this jacket (size large) fits nicely. I wouldn't call the sleeves particularly long, but they're not as short as most coats I try on. I wouldn't say it's exactly flattering (though I also wouldn't say it's unflattering), but that's not high on my list for super cold days. It's a pretty heavy coat, so I'm counting on being toasty warm this winter!

I'm so in love with this jacket. It has so many awesome features. I don't ski but I HATE being cold and I get cold easily. I wanted a jacket that would stand up to the Midwest winter weather when I'm walking the dog or playing in the snow with the kids. So far we've had a relatively mild winter but the few cold and blustery days so far I've been nice and toasty warm in this jacket. Yesterday it was cold and rainy and it was fantastic to run my errands and stay dry and warm. There's nothing worse than a coat that soaks up water and makes you cold and soggy. There are so many great details in this coat. For instance, the pockets are lined with soft and warm fabric. The hood adjusts in a few different ways to help it fit the way you want it. There are so many zippers and compartments which is great for a busy mom like me. While I'll sacrifice fashion to be warm in a heartbeat, I don't feel frumpy in this jacket at all. I've gotten a few compliments on it already. It fits pretty much perfectly on me. I fairly reliably wear a 12 and it fits great. It's warm without being huge and bulky. I don't get too hot and sweaty once I'm in a store either. I rarely spend much on clothing but this jacket was well worth the price.

I love this jacket. The color is bright but I can be seen and I can wear it when taking the dogs out in hunting season! It's very warm and comfortable. I'm 5'2" and bought the large. It means I can easily put fleece under it bu the sleeves are a good length and its long enough to cover my butt.
I'm thrilled with this jacket and for the price, I'm very happy!

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Cute but too boxy for me

Loved the color and the features. Everything I was looking for in terms of insulation, pockets and details. However the chest area was too boxy for me. (I am not busty 5'7", 135lbs and barely a 34B chest) It was too wide across the chest and under the arms.

Would have loved to keep it, but just not flattering for me.
