5.0 out of 5 stars. The best sink strainer ever!!

I bought 2 of these mainly to keep the dog hair out of the drains (I have a Newfie and it seems his hair is everywhere). These sink strainers do an awesome job! They are easy to clean. I just bought more for stocking stuffers for my sisters. Never thought I would use the words "love" and "sink strainer" in the same sentence but I do love these sink strainers!!!

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Not so functional

As others suggest, a fair amount of water collects (More than the Good Grips, by far). Also, when a lot of water is dumped in the sink, as is usual when washing any pot, bottle or jar, this strainer will just float up, so defeats the purpose - its too light.

The Good Grips, for a bit more, works.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. OK Build a better mousetrap...

Well, don't need a mousetrap, but something easier to clean than the steel mesh sink strainer. This allows little bits to get thru and doesn't get all weirdly coated like the other kind. A better sink strainer. Ordered 3 more for stocking stuffers to add in with other gifts.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. holes are too big

I put it in the drawer. I prefer the mesh wire sink strainers for keeping as much of the small stuff out if my plumbing as possible.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. It works!

It looks better than a mesh strainer. Catches debris from going down the drain. It doesn't have a stopper to keep water in the sink. I didn't want that anyway. Easy to clean in the top rack of dishwasher.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Simple pleasures...

I LOVE this strainer! I'm used to the mesh kind that gets all gunky after a short period and is very hard to clean. This one is great because it's sturdy and stands up to being scrubbed with a brush, actually coming clean. The rubber seal is a great fit on the drain too!
