Best Ariats I've gotten so farReviewed by Suzanne from Albuquerque on Wednesday, December 23, 2015I work long hours in a facility that manufactures Western-lifestyle products and also have health conditions that have damaged my feet and knees, so I have come to rely on Ariat boots for their superior combination of style and functionality. I was really happy to find the shaft is actually tan and not yellow as they appeared online. These boots have Ariat's most supportive sole and fit true to the brand's usual sizing, which varies by the foot style. If you aren't sure of your size, consider heading to a big-box western wear place to try Ariats on in person. If you don't have that convenience, consider that I wear a standard size 9 C in most shoes, which translates to an 8.5 B in this boot and an 8 B in Ariat's more square- or round-toed styles that have a wider foot box (like most Fatbaby styles). The boots should be very tight across the bridge (top of your foot over the arch) at first. They WILL break in quickly and provide superior arch support and supination/pronation stability. If they are too tight at the ball of your foot (where bunions develop) you probably need to go up a half size.

I normally wear a 9 in Ariats and these boots were no different than any of my others. The details are fabulous and these boots shipped FAST and came brand spanking new with zero flaws!!!! I'm more than satisfied and am looking for another pair since a gal can never have too many boots!

I exchanged them for a half size larger which helps a little. I am keeping them because they were a smokin' deal and look great. But, crossing my fingers that they will stretch and get more comfortable.

But I had to send them back for a 6.5 because they were really big! still waiting in them. Hope they make it back soon. :)
