I buy 34 waist in pants, shorts, and with Board Shorts from other companies. I had to exchange them for a size up. Fortunately their sizes accomidate that easily. Instead of their sizes coming in only even sizes (i.e. 32,34,36) they had a size 35 that fit perfectly.
