5.0 out of 5 stars. Multi pocketed wonder

There are 7 - count 'em, seven pockets in these shorts. They are great for gardening. Pickets are well placed, of several different types, sizes, positions and closures for everything I carry- pruners, garden gloves, insect spray, small pruning saw, trough. The fabric is tough, but suprisingly lightweight. Nothing pokes through. If you managed to catch them on a briar bush, you'd pull the bush out by the roots before you tore the shorts. I am 5'4", 145#, and 40's fit perfectly. The very involved, cryptic, tag free multi lingual care label (I think there are 8 languages plus probably esperanto) told you to line dry, but they were nice, warm, soft and dry on permanent press in my dryer in under 20 minutes. I was expecting stiff, heavy canvas and they're not that at all - as a matter of fact, they are quite flattering. As other reviewers note, the workmanship is fabulous. I'm going to snap up the pants while I can in my size since the shorts are all gone. Oh, and I love the little Swedish flag tag on this brand.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Beautifully made, lovely fabric

I love these shorts. nice length, useful pockets. They are well constructed and look like they will last for years. But I ordered them too small. I wear a 12/14 or XL in shorts. The size 42 was too tight.

These shorts fit beautifully! I am 5'6" and weigh 110 with a slim figure. I ordered both the 34 & 36 because I wasn't quite sure how the sizes ran. The 34 fit exactly right. I am a seamstress and am very impressed with the quality fabric and construction. The stitching and top stitching are nice short stitches as opposed to the sloppy long stitching used on lesser quality garments. With the STP discount the price is VERY reasonable.
