I consider them in line with shorts for hot weather runs. I love this style, it's one of the few Lole capri lengths that will fit me as I'm on the shorter side (5'4"). Some of their longer capris have a straighter leg and go wide around the calf, if you're short. These are the perfect length, and the zipper pocket in the back is great, it's on the back of the right hip, so even if you're cross training in these it won't get in the way of doing ab work. I now own these in 7 different colors. :)

I bought my first pair locally but was glad to see these closeouts and have since bought 2 more pairs. These are very lightweight and stretchy; I like the mesh inserts to help stay a bit cooler.
