Italian Garment-Dyed BargainReviewed by Mauka in Kona from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii on Tuesday, June 9, 2015Garment-dyed material from Europe is heavier and tends to have an initial stiffer feel that softens as you wear and wash the shorts. I have other garment-dyed pants and shorts from Europe and that has routinely been the case. I initially ordered two pair, that as a previous reviewer mentioned, were slightly "tight" in the waist. A size larger would have been too loose. Again, as with the feel, the garment-dyed fabric loosens at the waist as you wear and wash them as long as you drip dry as per the instructions. I liked the initial 2 pair so much that I ordered 2 more pair at this amazing price for this level of quality. The cargo pockets are not as bulky as pictured and are fastened by two snaps as are the two rear pockets. Some may still not like the weight of the material,l but I have found that here in Hawaii natural cotton wears cooler than some lighter blends or synthetic shorts.

Returned.
