My shoe size is 10.5-11, and L size feels snug. First impression was not that great as there were two little "ears" of extra material on each side of my foot where the white of the toes meets the colored pattern. However, after a day of use they stretched out properly, and I could no longer feel the seam.
While running these socks feel very cool and smooth in my shoes, and they breathe very well.
I would buy again.
