He normally wears a 30-31" waist, and these are very comfortable. He likes the inseam length (as listed), and is particularly enthusiastic about the very deep pockets. We haven't noticed the lint collection issue of others, but he really wouldn't care anyway. Great purchase!

I did notice a bit of lint sticking to them, as the other commenters have stated, but it's not a dealbreaker for me. I bought the 34's which are usually pretty snug around the waist, but I found these to be a little loose. Almost fit closer to a 36. Not a bad thing since the holidays are coming up and I have room to grow. All in all, these great looking shorts are everything I hoped for.

I wear between a 34 and 36 waist, I purchased these in a 36 and they slid right off. I would have exchanged them for a 34 but STP was sold out. Quality seemed good.
