These shoes have eyelets that are too narrow and it is impossible to tie the shoes tightly.
And if you try to tighten the laces, they fray.
If I had wanted slip-ons, I would have bought Crocs. -

I bought these in an 11 med and he is happy with the fit. He wore them on a 6 mile hike last week and had no discomfort and that was with almost no break-in period.

The shoe lacing is a problem because of the eyes. The eyes on this boot make it hard to make the boot feel snug. The boots are comfortable but probably will not use for hiking because like I said its hard to lace them up tight. Gave it three stars because the boots are waterproof.
