These are booty-fying. The black velveteen will be fun with a fancy blouse for casual holiday parties and such. But pack a mini lint roller in your bag, and expect to have to use it!

The only real pockets on these pants are the patch pockets on the rear. I ordered my usual size and the next size up and I'll keep the larger size since these seem to run small. I need a pair of black jeans with narrower legs and these seem to fit the bill, despite the lack of front pockets. The velveteen is nice, though of course it's a lint magnet. I really wish I could find a pair of black jeans that were actual black rinse denim (reasonably priced and a good fit) and were not black twill or black velveteen or black who knows what.
