5.0 out of 5 stars. Boyfriend loves it!Reviewed by Connie from College Station on Wednesday, March 8, 2017I bought this backpack for my boyfriend, who had been using an external old-school backpack. He likes this one much better. Great for weekend hiking trips. Amazing price!!! Can't beat that.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Well made, but heavy for its sizeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Georgia on Wednesday, February 8, 2017The materials are high quality and the pack is easy to size. The side pockets are deep and stretchy, and the hip pockets are actually big enough to use.
Its compression system is interesting but I'm not sure how effective it is. But my biggest complaint is the weight. At 5lbs this pack is heavy for its capacity. This is due to the frame which are thick steel bars. They do however distribute weight well and help airflow to the lower back. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Well madeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Linville Gorge on Thursday, February 2, 2017The pack is made of quality materials and is sturdy enough but still relatively light-weight. The plastic internal frame is a nice design that fits well and avoids the complexity and potential difficulties (that I have experienced previously) of aluminum stays. Because of the comparatively small size, the pack lacks a lower entrance but I don't believe that this will be a difficulty considering that this is a pack for shorter trips, not necessarily designed for an extensive trek. I bought this on closeout and it was an exceptional value at a very low price.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Incredible Value with PerformanceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Nebraska on Monday, January 30, 2017This pack is a great value for the price and performance. It is a larger size but works very well. The exterior, vertical outside zippered pocket only allows a few items when bag packed, but that is very minor. Overall, an incredible find.

5.0 out of 5 stars. what a bargain for me...Reviewed by Hang Williams from Indiana on Monday, January 23, 2017I am glad that I finally pulled the trigger and picked this pack up. I had it in my cart many times, but the single mediocre review made me hesitate. The pack arrived today.. my first impression is that this is a high quality well built pack. It fits comfortably and all the fits and pieces are of the same premium quality as my expensive Thule day gear. I can't wait to get it loaded up and out on the trail this spring.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Ok design with some flawsReviewed by Cbslc from Utah on Sunday, January 8, 2017So the first problem with this pack is the compression cord that goes around the side to the front covers the size zippered areas - on both sides. So getting to the last 1/3 of the side zipper area is difficult. If you are putting in something big, you will have to go through the top. The hole in the front where the cord comes out also makes a nice place for water to come into the bottom area. The fabric is ok, but pretty lightweight.
