  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Comfort you'd expect from Chacos

These are great hiking shoes. They make me feel as if I'm walking on air. The only beef I have with them is that they still upset the arthritis in my big toe, but I'm pretty sure any shoe will. Overall, I'm pretty happy with them so far.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. good pair of hiking shoes

The shoes is comfortable. I was a little worried after reading in some review that the tongue hurts the feet but it fits me fine. I guess it really depends on the person. I'm very happy about the purchase.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Odd pair

I typically love Chacos (I do have 6 or more pairs) but this hiking shoe was odd The right shoe was somewhat shaped to push and maintain my foot into pronation, while the left felt stable in neutral. I'm sending them back. Maybe it's just the pair. Overall they felt stiff, which a hiking shoe can be, if that's what you prefer. I'd much rather use my Chaco sandals for the freedom of foot movement when I hike.

Have worn these on some pretty muddy trails and my feet stayed nice and dry. Comfortable too
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Feels good, at first.

Higher heel created an odd gait. Tongue dug into ankle. All of this was disappointing because shoe seemed sturdy and well built and at first it felt good but then started to hurt my feet.

About Chaco

There's a good reason why Chaco shoes have maintained a devoted following of adventurous souls (proudly known as Chaconians) for more than 25 years. From the incredible, arch-supporting footbed to the totally unique strap configuration, Chaco sandals fit like a glove and provide amazing support. Originally created by Mark Paigen in 1989, Chaco sandals have since evolved from a single pair of “Ultimate Sport Sandals” into an array of adventure-ready footwear products, including Chaco boots, sneakers and even clogs. Plus, to reduce waste and help loyal Chaconians get more miles out of their favorite kicks, this brand has even introduced the ReChaco Project, which allows customers to send in their worn or damaged sandals to be repaired.
