5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from North Dakota on Friday, September 25, 2015Not only are these shoes extraordinarily comfortable, but based on how good my feet have been feeling since wearing them they're actually doing what Altra claims. Additionally, I've never had so many compliments on my footwear...people love how they look!

5.0 out of 5 stars. unbeatable comfortReviewed by Jericho from salt lake on Saturday, September 5, 2015I run 35 miles per week and burn out at least 4 pairs of running shoes per year. I have gone through countless pairs of running shoes in the last 10 years, both major and obscure brands. These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I ordered extras and I wear them for running and for casual wear. The zero drop suits my running style well. The outsoles hold up longer than most brands. The insoles are decent but I replaced them with some NB insoles that I rotate through my running shoes. When my feet hurt from wearing other shoes all day, these shoes are like therapy for my feet. I wish they would tone down the colors a little bit, so they weren't shouting so loudly around town.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable shoe.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Doc Mike from Beautiful Southwest Michigan on Saturday, August 15, 2015I'm not much of a runner, but I'm on my feet a lot all day and usually wear running shoes daily. The shoes are very comfortable, supportive, and great looking.I love the wide toebox. I get many compliments from my patients who see them. They fit true to size. I don't know much about the zero drop except that it's common shoe for people who practice "good form running."

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoe for my aching toeReviewed by Anonymous from Missouri (NOT in the county with the flag at half mast) on Wednesday, July 15, 2015I have hallux limitus (a version of turf toe or arthritis at the first joint of my great toe). Needed a wide shoe and a firm sole shoe. Perfect shoe, have 4 pairs now. I replaced the easily removable cushion and placed in a thin metal sole plate and these are the most comfortable shoes since my Kalsos! Running or walking is great, much less pain. I have heard they wear out but I am not a regular runner and my original pair has held up well being used all day about half the time for over 6 months.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Super ComfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by JimmyR from Western North Carolina on Tuesday, July 7, 2015Wearing these shoes is like walking on clouds. They are the most comfortable running shoes I have ever owned. The reason I bought them and why they work well for me is the wide toe box. My feet are wide and my second and third toes are long so sometimes I have a difficult time getting a good fit. These Altras are the ticket for me. They seem to run a little large. In a Nike Tailwind I wear an 11. I bought 11 Altra and they seem to be maybe a half size large.

5.0 out of 5 stars. best fit everVerified Buyer Reviewed by bill from folsom, ca on Tuesday, June 30, 2015these are not the fastest shoe, but i have never had a toebox as comfortable as this in anything short of a sandal.
they are zero drop, i like that, but you may have to adjust if not used to zero drop running shoes. heel cushioning is really good, but not quite as good as a Hoka. same for forefoot. they are flexible. bottom line - this is now my favorite running shoe for training on treadmills and runs less than 5 miles. if you can get these on a discount and have a wide forefoot, buy a pair, just so you know what you are missing in your regular running shoes. FYI my dress shoe size is 11B USA. i got these in a size 12 and they fit if i use a wright double layer sock, if i use a thin sock the heel slips a tiny bit. i have no idea if a 11.5 would fit me better.
