Make excellent hiking shorts tooReviewed by JRS from Tahoe, California on Saturday, October 10, 2015Wound up bringing these along on a longish backpacking trip and wore them exclusively (just the outer short). Great fit, nice stretch, and well-placed pockets. The inner pad short is cushy, but could be a bit higher-waisted for my taste.

You can adjust the waist but even the smallest adjustment makes the shorts jut out awkwardly in the back. The xsmall may have worked better but the small was only size available. I am going to keep them as the short is such good quality and will have them adjusted.
