Very comfortable, even with the 3" heel. I have flat feet, with over-pronation and still found the boot to be just a comfortable as any lower heeled shoe or boot. I ordered a 71/2 size and it fit perfect.

The zippers on the left and right sides are both functional. I normally need wide widths but the cut in these ankle boots is wide enough for me to get by with the regular width. I usually don't wear 3" heels, but these are stable enough for easy walking. Also the vamp is structured to keep my feet from sliding forward and jamming my toes.

The oiled leather is a great, unique look and the boots have good insoles and non-slip soles. They zip on both sides--good for style and for longevity! I have somewhat narrow feet, and my regular size fit well. I returned them, only because I can't wear 3" heels all day and I wanted these for work. For date night---awesome! Very sexy with tights and a shorter skirt!
