1.0 out of 5 stars. ...oh gawd...Reviewed by mountain goat from colorado on Thursday, December 29, 2016ordered one FULL size up, and toe box STILL too small. (Note to self: even though my foot measures a perfect 9, apparently shoe manufacturers have decided 10 is the new 9 (and so on). if it squishes your foot, no matter how much insulation it has, your feet will be cold.
friend said i looked like I belonged in some heavy metal band or queen or something. Might be a good fashion accent if you live in a city, or somewhere people wear lots of black shiny things.
sent it back and used the money to buy some wool socks. finally found some Keen winter boots that don't squish my toes. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Khombu Farrah Snow BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Denise from CO on Sunday, August 28, 2016I haven't had an opportunity to wear these boots yet, but they are super comfortable and I can't wait to wear them. I live in a ski resort town in the winter and they will be perfect. I love the fact that they lace up the front so I can make them as tight or loose as I want depending on whether I wear tights or pants inside the boots. I also love the sparkle. When you live in a town where active clothing is the norm, it is fun to have something that will add a little dress up to an outfit.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Extremely SMALLReviewed by Saintmom from NY on Friday, August 26, 2016My old snow boots were getting very worn & losing their insulating properties. At the clearance price these Farrah boots were irresistible & seemed stylish & girly, unlike my old Sorel boots. They also had laces, something my old snowboots lacked, making them difficult to get off & on. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis & I need adjustability & comfort above everything else. My Sorel boots were a size 9 & had room to spare, my feet are a medium to narrow width, (& also I'm 5'11" with a small frame) but I decided to get these boots in a Sz 10 just in case.
Anyway, they looked small right out of the box, I double checked the sizes, & they all said Size 10, just like I ordered. I tried them on with stockings(not socks), & I had to really push my foot in, the opening was very tight & stiff. My foot was crammed in the boot, there was literally no wiggle room, my foot made contact with every part of the interior of the boot. I was astonished at just how tight & small these were. They felt like a size 8 or 8.5, at least 1.5 sizes too small. I've never had this happen before, usually snowboots run large. I compared them my sz 9 Sorel snowboots, which were at least one inch longer than these supposed size 10's. So, I had no choice but to return them. I thought about getting the sz 11, but I was worried that they still would be too small & I hate paying for shipping in mislabeled/mis-sized merchandise!
I'm really surprised these boots have such glowing reviews, & no one mentioned how small they are. I think it is doubtful I was the only one to receive tiny boots, but who knows!
The quality was decent, they were very girly & the shiny patent black was pretty. The shimmer "suede" wasn't super obvious & just the right touch of sparkle.
So sad!!! :( -

5.0 out of 5 stars. Warm and waterproofVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from massachusetts on Wednesday, February 24, 2016I was looking for boots that would do well in wet snow, slush and rain. I've worn them a couple of times in those conditions and they've kept my feet warm and dry. And they are pretty cute too!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Absolutely PERFECT!!!Reviewed by CAmom from California on Monday, February 15, 2016I spent three days snow camping in these boots (in 4-5 feet of snow) and they were perfect. They were completely waterproof and kept my feet dry and warm the entire weekend. I might have been the only person on the trip who didn't have problems with my feet getting wet or cold, even people with expensive brand-name boots. And they are somewhat sparkly and shiny, a plus if you are a woman camping with a bunch of Boy Scouts and their dads. Great product at a great price.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Shoe was ok, but Sierra Tradingpost's returns and customer service are horribleVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Washington State on Thursday, February 4, 2016The shoe came and was too small, so I returned it. According to the receipt, the return should cost $6.95 and I got charged double that. After trying to get ahold of somebody for some answers, I still have not received a reply. The shoe itself is warm and bulky. I wanted something I could wear around town and to snow, but ended up getting a pair of Merrel boots since those were more comfortable. Wouldn't buy anything from this company again due to their bad customer service!
