The satin lining keeps hair from mussing. The hat fits perfectly in my size, and has a very trim look to it when compared to most driving caps. This to the advantage of those with slimmer faces. It would also fit well under a hood when need be.

I ordered three of these hats, knowing that one of them would fit perfectly. One id and I returned the other two. The check is subtle, small houndstooth, and I have received more than a few compliments on it.
