They are not too thin as too feel under dressed but thin enough to very comfortable for So. Arizona weather and the bit of stretch in them gives me full range of motion for hiking without any binding.

These have a high rise waist, as in, my mom would probably love them. No way am I going to pull them up 2" above my bellybutton, so I have to roll them over so as not to have a saggy baggy crotch. I never tuck my shirts in anyway, so I guess it's not a huge issue. And the front pockets are really deep. To reach the bottom of the pocket I need to bend sideways, and I have longer arms- many long sleeve shirts are too short for me. My point is, is feels weird when I put my hand in the pocket, since it's just hanging there, touching my leg and wishing for a little support from the bottom of the pocket. Not my favorites, but I'll probably still wear them enough to get my closeout pricing $$ worth.

I purchased these in a size 20. They fit perfectly. Usually, the sizes are 1X (16-18) and 2X (20-22), so pants are usually way too large in the butt. And Columbia is a great company. I like the way the material feels. Very lightweight. I hope they are still comfortable in heat and humidity but they should wash and dry easily and quickly. I read my emails from STP and these were a good find.

I don't love the interior button with the pull over snaps. I wore them on the inca trail and in the jungle of Peru. They held up well and I was able to wash them in the bathtub and they dried overnight.

They fit well and are true to size. The material has enough stretch built in to make touring comfortable. The color is a very neutral gray/green. I will be able to take these when we travel to Portugal and tour in comfort. They are light weight too, so they will not take up much space in my suitcase. I will be able to wash them and hang them to dry overnight.

They have the perferct amount of stretch that bends with you. Pockets are a must for me, here you have four pockets to carry essentials when out walking and hiking. Two deep pockets in the front and two rear pockets. The sage green color is nutral enough to be worn with any color shirt. I will order a second pair because they are so versatile and comfortable.
