1.0 out of 5 stars. Do not buy the factory 2nd socksReviewed by royce from colorado on Sunday, January 22, 2017I got these socks and when I put them on one of the socks was missing at least a 1/3 of the wool in the foot area leaving just the nylon re-enforcing mesh. This is not a small cosmetic or packaging flaw, as described by the Sierra Trading Post website. Due to the returns policy of Sierra, it is not worth sending back.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Endurofil feels like plasticVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hiker from Florida on Thursday, July 21, 2016I ordered these and the Bridgedale Midweight Hiker socks and they seem to share the same unusual component. If I hadn't had the Trekker and Summit socks from Bridgedale, that contain much more merino wool, I probably would have kept them both, but the softer, more cushioned socks that were nearly the same price motivated me to send these back. The size was spot on and they were well proportioned. I"m sure they'd last a long time, because everything I've bought of Bridgedale has been excellent.
