Unfortunately, it runs small. My husband is generally a medium, 5'5" and about 145 pounds. The robe just didn't quite close with enough of a wrap not to gap and hang open at the hips.

It's soft and cozy, and warm without being overly heavy. I like it being looped terry on both sides, rather then velour. I'm 5'6" and the small hits me mid-calf. The lower of the 2 belt loops is at the right height for me. Washes well.

It feels rough and cheap. The sash is too high, and its Large size is more like a Medium. But the fabric was the biggest disappointment ... this is FAR from supersoft!

Nevertheless, it rates a review and four stars for size. My wife is 5' 1" and 101 pounds, and the XS fits her perfectly. It is a true petite XS. It is very hard to find a terrycloth bathrobe in this size, believe me I have tried. If you need a true petite XS, the cut and fit of this robe are good and the quality is acceptable. If you wear a larger size, I believe you could do better.
