5.0 out of 5 stars. 2nd time I've ordered this coatVerified Buyer Reviewed by MTmomof5 from Montana on Tuesday, January 31, 2017I bought this coat last year for my son, and he really liked it. When he started to outgrow it, I bought a different larger sized coat, but he has refused to wear it, so I returned it and bought the next size in this coat. He says it feels warm and cozy.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great for a tall skinny toddler's first turns in VTReviewed by Skinny tall goofy son from D.C. > VT on Monday, January 16, 2017I snagged some 100cm skis and near new Dalbello boots in order to get my four year old (40lbs, 40") on the free magic carpet on Ludlow Mtn and needed a waterproof, insulated jacket. Arrived in time for Christmas and I was excited for present opening for the first time in a stretch (the plans and boots, helmet, goggles, socks, this jacket; junior got hooked up.) For the price, the product performed very well; my guy was never cold despite wind chills ~10* at the base and the durable outer shell repelled water and resisted abrasion admirably. The cuffs adjust and marry well to mittens and getting the think on and off was barely a headache. In addition to shredding 30-45' of vertical twice, he ABUSED the jacket sledding in Neena's front yard; again, never cold or too wet. Removing the liner is quick and intuitive; the pockets work. The red is fashionable according to my better half and we got dumped on. Want a pow day? Buy your brat this shell. You're welcome.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Poor constructionReviewed by Broken Zipper from Philly on Thursday, January 5, 2017I was hopeful, but ultimately burned by this deal. The inner liner is very thin - outside seems OK. My 7 year old son wore this for 1.5 months and then the hood keep falling off and the finally this morning the zipper just broke off. A supposed $110 coat that has a zipper that breaks?!?!? I love Sierra but it is a bit of a yard sale in terms of finding quality vs. rubbish. Learned my lesson on coats.

4.0 out of 5 stars. pretty good, not super warmVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Seattle on Friday, December 9, 2016Good winter jacket, so long as you are not in a super cold area. The fleece liner jacket is quite thin and would only be good for early fall or late spring as an outer layer. As such, I wouldn't count on this without a sweater in places where it is consistently below zero over the winter. But, for the price it is a great jacket for a place that only sees snow occasionally.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Good quality coatReviewed by ByronSpace from Carmel, IN on Monday, December 5, 2016We found that this coat is a nice quality quote for our son. The things we like are the length, quality, and overall look. The length of the coat is nice. It is a little longer so I am thinking that while playing out in the snow it will keep the him warm. The quality is nice. The outer shell looks nice and the different layers are a good quality for the price we paid. The look is nice. Simple blue coat.
The one thing I would say was odd to us is that the 4 in 1 is using one of the layers as a reversible. Not bad just not what we were thinking. Overall this doesn't take away from the jacket itself. -

4.0 out of 5 stars. Warm!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Lizzy,RN from North Cascades on Wednesday, February 17, 2016This jacket seems like it will be perfect for my 5 yo grandson while skiing and snowshoeing. I like its length and that the inner liner can be removed. Don't love the Camo pattern; but you can't please everyone.
Wish that the hood had a strap for goggles or could be removed.
It's my annual tradition to buy his winter boots and coats. Love Sierra Trading, especially for quick growing children. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Very nice coatVerified Buyer Reviewed by MTmomof5 from Montana on Tuesday, January 19, 2016Ordered the 5/6 coat for my 6 year old son. Another reviewer said that the arms were way too short, so I was a little worried, but my son really liked the color so I thought I would try it. Everything fits well. I think the sleeve length could be a little longer, but overall it looks good on him and he likes the coat.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Arms too shortVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hedgie from Seattle on Saturday, September 5, 2015I bought this for my 5 year old who loved the red color but the sleeves barely covered her wrists though the torso was a perfect fit.
