5.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful coat with hood

Love this coat. Got it in black. luscious fabric. Hood is a little floppy, but you can fold back the front edge if necessary. It is well made. Worked well in drizzly rain. I was surprised however, when I felt cold (especially on my arms) on a cloudy, breezy 42* F day with the liner in. It is perfect however for 45-65 degrees F weather, so will work for me in Michigan all spring, into the early summer with liner out and well into fall.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. London Fog Trench Coat

Was very surprised when I found this London Fog Trench Coat on Sierra Trading Post. I look forward to a chilly day when I can wear it because it is comfy warm even w/o the lining. It is high quality and was offered at a great value. Would have liked it in tan but glad to have a trench coat of this quality.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. A useful addition to my wardrobe

A well made coat. Quite roomy in the lower half. I have yet to test it for water resistance. I'm somewhat disappointed that the liner is made of 90% synthetic fibres. It will be a useful 3-season coat (not warm enough for winter).

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. The Classic

Knee-length, classic black London Fog coat. A size ten is a ten. No nonsense. Like you remember. I wish the top closed with a button, but it doesn't. Other than that, it's just right.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Great coat but runs large
Reviewed by Sad trench coat seeker from New Jersey on Monday, April 4, 2016
I loved the coat. Beautiful design, easy to remove liner and hood, perfect for spring or fall weather. But only 2 stars it runs very very large. I got the small, I'm 5 ft and measure 36-34-38, which according to the size guide on the London Fog website should put me somewhere between the S and XS but the S was really huge; I pretty much never wear an XS. Even the London Fog website says that their regular sizes tend to run large and to consider sizing down, so keep that in mind.
