5.0 out of 5 stars. The real dealVerified Buyer Reviewed by MoJo.Smiles from Texas on Saturday, July 16, 2016This jacket is the equivalent to the ones that fishermen use. It's that heavy and thick. For the price you won't go wrong with this purchase. My husband was super excited when he opened it. He's always amazed at the great stuff I get STP. Thanks!!

3.0 out of 5 stars. Probably effective, but weighs a TON.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Corgi Avenger from Out on the trail on Thursday, June 16, 2016Sent it back. I have a tent that weighs less than this thing does.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Commercial quality rain jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Nori from Dillon MT on Friday, May 27, 2016Top quality heavy duty rain gear. Totally waterproof in extended torrential downpours, but that also means absolutely non-breatheable. Good enough for Bristol Bay gillnetters, but would be a little sweaty for hard hiking in light drizzle! Sizing seem about right.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Better than expectedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Cape Cod on Wednesday, February 24, 2016The quality of the jacket is much better than i expected. Seen this quality on jackets a hundred dollars or more.

5.0 out of 5 stars. more weighty than midweightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Massachusetts on Friday, February 19, 2016Inner cuffs make a big difference. I've never been in A Perfect Storm, so I can't vouch for its longevity, but this is a serious, serious, piece of outerwear when you do not want to get drenched and clammy, shoveling a sidewalk or clearing a drainpipe before the next round of weather hits.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good ProductVerified Buyer Reviewed by Casey from Utah on Thursday, January 28, 2016I am very happy with the coat. The top half of the coat is pretty fitted, including the hood, with the lower portion pretty wide. I have 42 inch shoulders and the XL is on my shoulders, but wide at the bottom. I like it!

4.0 out of 5 stars. a SERIOUS ParkaVerified Buyer Reviewed by Doug the Walkin' Guy from Kalamazoo, MI on Saturday, January 9, 2016This jacket will, without any doubt, keep you warm and dry. I gave it 4 of 5 because it is "brittle" and will rquire some breaking in time on one's back to make it a comfortable wear.

2.0 out of 5 stars. NahVerified Buyer Reviewed by Easy peezy from Salem OR on Wednesday, December 30, 2015Thought I would try the made in China knock off. The seams were shoddy and ragged on the outside of the jacket and already coming apart/separating in two small areas new, straight out of the package. Heavy duty jacket and cheap. May be worth the price if you are willing to re-glue seams as they separate, but not me, I sent it back.

4.0 out of 5 stars. decent qualityReviewed by steve r from Portland OR on Tuesday, December 22, 2015I wouldn't say this is the heaviest duty PVC jacket I've had, but for the price it is good. I like the neoprene inner cuffs to prevent water from getting into the sleeves. The fit is good for me - I ordered a small and it fits me well, loose but not baggy. I am 5'7" and wear a 39 short jacket.
Wish it had flap pockets to put gloves etc. in. The hood is pretty huge and I wish it had a bit of a stick-out bill .
