5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent value for price, minor issuesVerified Buyer Reviewed by 3rd world traveller from San Diego on Wednesday, February 10, 2016This is a substantial well-made jacket. I purchased the overall black and brown checked version without the solid bottom trim. There are minor issues. The front rim of the hood comes to a point that cannot be re-formed to lie flat because it is made of some kind of hard plastic-like interfacing. I bought a size 38 and the conversion on the website says size 4-6 but this fits more like an extra-small petite or 2-4. My extra-small arcteryx ski jacket is larger than this jacket. My hips are 35 inches and this fits just right. The bottom edge measures 38 inches, so I agree with a previous post that the hips are small and would not fit a size 6. I am 5' 3 inches with short arms and the sleeve length is perfect--probably too short for a tall girl. THERE ARE NO THUMB LOOPS. (see submitted photo for proof) I also purchased the marsala solid-colored Rider II ARD jacket which DID have thumb loops and the hood front was normal shape. This black-brown ARD II printed jacket also has side bottom elastic drawstrings at the hem that the Rider II ARD does not. I liked them so much I kept both.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Weird FitReviewed by Anonymous from NJ on Friday, December 11, 2015I am an exact 38, not skinny, not fat, and not curvy. The upper portion of the jacket fits well, but the bottom portion barely closes around my hips. If you have regular to wide hips then the bottom half of the jacket will be so tight you cannot wear it. The colors are a little boring, but otherwise its a nice jacket.
