I would say for someone shorter that 5'9" you would have to hem top and bottoms. I am sure they would shrink if you put them thru the dryer which I do not, I hang to dry.

I was disappointed with the quality of the cotton jersey in the PJ bottoms - not nearly as soft as the other purchases. That being said, I am keeping them.
