3.0 out of 5 stars. Product color not similar as depicted.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kpulaparthi from Bothell, WA on Thursday, December 17, 2015I had ordered and received Collegiate Navy color.
No issued with functionality or quality. Offers good wind resistance. Zippered pockets come handy.
Color looks pale in comparison to the picture shown in the website. I had uploaded a picture of mine, so you can compare.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Another "fashion" outerwear itemReviewed by Hondo from Northern Virginia on Tuesday, October 27, 2015The outdoor industry has evolved over time, ever since the urban crowd changed The North Face brand into a city-style status item. It used to be that outerwear designed by hardcore outdoor companies was created for function, and it was possible to use multiple items to "layer up" for warmth and protection. (I was around when TNF really became popular, but that was more due to their A-frame Sierra Tent and revolutionary VE-23 and VE-24 geodesic dome tents.)
But no more. If you buy outerwear online, you're now rolling the dice as to whether you're buying a piece of outdoor equipment, or a ruggedized "style piece" that is oriented more towards urban fashionistas with all the rugged quality and design of an item of solid outdoor equipment. The MH Loughton falls into the second category. If you're looking for a ruggedized "fashion item", then this jacket will fit the bill - with a caveat.
"Fashion" means that the appearance and fit of the item is more oriented towards looking good rather than being a part of a functional outdoor equipment ensemble. Stated in clearer terms, this jacket would probably fit a member of "One Direction" better than someone getting ready to solo in the Wind River Range. The body is cut narrow and close fitting, the sleeves are more narrow than the usual, and the fabric, while comfortable with a four-way stretch, is really very thin. The Loughton would make a good wind shell, or something to take the chill off a cool summer evening. As a piece of real outdoor equipment, it will function as such provided you're of the right build to get into it and use it as an "above base" piece of clothing. In truth, it has all the quality of a MH piece of gear, but it's better suited for someone with an athletic or slight build looking to a make a "rugged fashion impression" with his urban friends.
I understand outdoor companies' interest in selling to the rugged fashion impression crowd, but I DO wish these companies (or STP) could make some distinction between outdoor gear that is cut and sewn for fashion rather than backcountry use. For those men contemplating purchase of this jacket, it is definitely high quality like all the other MH gear, but I would fall back on men's shirt sizing to best describe the fit. If this were a dress shirt, it would be "Fitted" opposed to "Regular'. Make your purchase decision based on that sizing.
