It was very comfortable on and the only reason it was unacceptable to me is that the front was too low cut. If you are in the medium range of bust size and are over 60, you may not want cleavage showing when you are out on a tour. If this were not the case I would have kept the dress.

The drappy skirt looks very cute on, however, it does have a reminiscent 'June Cleaver' vibe. It does have a (too) plunging neckline so I will get that tailored. nice length though.

I ordered a small, but it fit like a medium or large. The overall structure of the dress didn't work together because the solid side of the dress was shorter than the striped side. Then also where the band area falls the underside would show dents of the hems from the reversed dress.

I bought this in 2 color, the gray and turquoise but didn't have my size in the raspberry which was my favorite!. If it comes back I would order it! . I've gotten many compliments. I'm 5'6" 120lbs with an athletic build and ordered a small and it fit like a glove!

Unfortunately, it just did not fit me. The length was as specified and the fabric was of good quality and a very nice hand. I can normally fit in a size 12 but the sizing on the top of this dress seemed off in the length. It almost felt short enough to be a petite size. The band that looks like it should go through the middle of the dress began at the mid point of the bust and the very cute cut out pattern in the back hit exactly where the back band of my bra sat. According to the photo it should have hit me under the bra area. I was sorry to return it but I had to. I am waaay too old to go braless! and that seemed to be the only way to wear this dress without exposing my underwear.

I am small chested and the seam under the chest cut too high for me while the waist was way too baggy. It is well made and I am sure would look adorable on someone with the right proportions. I love Mountain Hardware but find them to be inconsistent as far as size and fit. I haveS, M, and L dresses that all fit me from Mountain Hardware.
