Really liked the fabric & style of these shorts but returned due to huge (over 4") gap between my body & the waistband of the shorts in back.

They are well made which I find typical of mountain hard wear. I purchased a size ten and should have gone with the next size up as I was counting on the stretch, which is there but not too much. So if you are in good shape, go with your normal size, if you need to shed a few, size up. Color is rich and deep ( I ordered the olive green). There is a hem which some women find bothersome, but this one seems well constructed and worse comes to worse, I may have to tack the hem up to stay put.

I am definitely going to get another pair; I am 5ft6, athletic 145 and got size 8.
